With the Stanford Board of Trustees' approval to move the occupants of the Meyer Library, plans are underway to move the East Asia Library to the former GSB South building in Summer 2014. Renovation plans are being made that will make EAL materials and services more accessible and provide an environment conducive to research and collaboration.
Some highlights:
- individual and group study rooms
- seminar rooms with A/V capabilities
- faculty teaching space
- more study carrels and group study tables
- special collections reading room
More news of the move will be provided in this space as details become available.
