New to GIS?

If you are new to GIS and not sure where to begin, here at the Stanford Geospatial Center we have created a system of geospatial training, direct project support, and data resources to get you started on the right path.

We provide general introductory GIS training and one-on-one consultations to help you get started quickly. We provide advanced instruction in geospatial concepts and science.

The Stanford Geospatial Center also has a comprehensive selection of GIS software and a large selection of global and regional geospatial data. With our services in GIS training, data research, and analysis design we can help guide from research inception to finished project.
