What we do in Serials Access and Maintenance:

The Serials Access & Maintenance Unit sets up serial control records in the ILS database for online check-in for newly acquired serial titles in various formats and languages including electronic journals.

We maintain and resolve complex problems with the serial control record when a journal has a change in publication frequency, a change of subscription vendor, a change in title, a change in format, a change in shelving location, a cancellation by the selector, or ceases publication.
