The Art & Architecture Library reading room has three dual-boot Mac cluster stations for Stanford students, faculty, and staff, and three PC kiosk stations that are available for use by Stanford and non-Stanford-affiliated patrons. Three additional kiosk stations are located in the stacks, on levels 1 and 2, and on the mezzanine. For information on what software is included on clusters and kiosks, see the Academic Computing Software Lists.
For information on wireless access for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, see the Wireless Network and Services page.
The reading room has one printer which can print double-sided copies in both color and black and white. For information on how to print to this printer from your own computer, see the printer setup instructions on the Residential Computing Web-Based Printing page.
Two dual-boot Mac cluster stations, available for use by Stanford students, faculty, and staff, support 12” x 17” flat bed scanners. A third, PC kiosk scanning station, also with a 12" x 17" scanner, is available for use by non-Stanford affiliated patrons. All patrons may reserve these computers for an hour at a time by signing a log at the Circulation Desk.
The Library has four DVD and VHS viewing stations: two 42”, wall-mounted screens that allows for group viewing, and two 20” stations for one or two-person viewing. Headphones and remotes may be checked out at the circulation desk.
Two self-service photocopiers are available on the Mezzanine level. One accepts cash only and prints both black and white and color copies. The second accepts cards only and prints black and white copies.
Library staff have been trained in the use of the equipment that the Art & Architecture Library offers. Please ask at the circulation desk if you have any questions or require assistance.
