Articles and conference papers from 21 professional societies. Includes patents from the world's major patent offices and papers from the U.S. Dept. of Energy's Information Bridge website.
STRING: Known and Predicted Protein-Protein Interactions
Interactions include direct (physical) and indirect (functional) associations and they are derived from four sources: Genomic context, High-throughput experiments, (Conserved) Coexpression, and previous knowledge (from the literature). STRING quantitatively integrates interaction data from these sources for a large number of organisms, and transfers information between these organisms where applicable. The database currently covers 2,590,259 proteins from 630 organisms.
