Penny illustrated paper

The British Library holds the only complete run of the Penny Illustrated Paper, published between 1861 and 1913. It provides a valuable and entertaining source of detailed information on everyday life and historical events in Britain and across the Empire. In January 1908, the newspaper's title was changed to ¿P.I.P. Penny Illustrated Paper. Five years later, the title was lost altogether when it became absorbed into ¿London Life

The RLG Serials file is one of the eight bibliographic files that make up the RLG Union Catalog, covering all subject areas of the serial title holdings of major research and university libraries. It is a comprehensive database of primarily textual material such as journals, magazines, periodicals, newspapers, monographic series, some conference proceedings, annuals, yearbooks, annual reports, looseleaf, and electronic journals. Some formats and materials issued serially such as maps and computer files may be included. Nontextual serials may be found in other parts of the RLG Union Catalog
