These solubilities are compiled from 18 volumes of the International Union for Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC)-NIST Solubility Data Series. The database includes liquid-liquid, solid-liquid, and gas-liquid systems. Typical solvents and solutes include water, seawater, heavy water, inorganic compounds, and a variety of organic compounds such as hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, alcohols, acids, esters and nitrogen compounds. There are over 67,500 solubility measurements and over 1800 references.

The ICSD contains information on all inorganic crystal structure including pure elements, minerals, metals, and intermetallic compounds, including their atomic coordinates, that have been published since 1913. Original data is extracted from over 80 leading scientific journals and a total of over 900 scientific journals to create the ICSD. Updated twice a year, each time adding about 3,000 new records. As of November 2010, the database contains 135,500 entries.

Produced by Fiz Chemie in Berlin, Infotherm contains property data for more than 30,000 pure substances and compounds, including PVT-properties, phase equilibria, transport and surface properties, caloric properties, acoustic and optical properties.
