Computers
The library offers public computers, each with SUNet access. All are connected to SUNet, have DVD readers, and are connected to black-&-white and color laser printers. Payment for printing is required via the Stanford Card Plan or a copy card. Two scanners are connected to two public workstations. Computers for word processing and other applications are not available in Falconer Library. One physical network connection is available for personal laptop computers.
Network connections
Wireless network access is available throughout the library. One physical network connection is available in the computer area. All network connections are available only to persons with a SUNet ID.
Printing and Photocopying
Students may enroll in the Stanford Card Plan and use a Stanford ID card as a debit card for printing or photocopying. Faculty and staff can add value to a Stanford ID card at a cash-to-card machine. The nearest location is Swain Library of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Visitors may purchase a copy/print card at cash to card machines. Photocopy Equipment
Two self-service photocopiers are available. Copiers accept coins, $1 and $5 bills, copy cards, or Stanford ID cards with value added for use in the copiers.
