Community Support of JPEG2000
The IIIF will work to develop a community support model for open source
technologies related to JPEG2000 encoding and decoding. First
and foremost will be re-engergizing support for the Adore Djatoka
originated at Los Alamos National Labs.
Optimizing Djatoka
The Norwegian National Library has done significant work to improve the performance of JPEG2000 decoding in Djatoka. Documentation on their approach can be found here:
