The Social Sciences Resource Center (SSRC) is located on the first floor of the Green Library Bing (West) Wing. Access to the Center is via the Green Library South (facing Meyer Library) and West (facing the Quad) portals. Hours may vary for availability of facilities, resources and services.

Users should present a current, valid borrower's card for all circulation transactions. Green Library circulation policies apply. Materials should be returned to the Green Library Loan Desk or to a Green Library book return drop.
In general, resource materials located in the Jonsson Reading Room and in the Center's Reception area do not circulate. However, the following SSRC collections circulate for a loan period of 28-days:
* Classic Texts (SSRC-Class) Jonsson Social Sciences Reading Room
* Center for the Study of Language and Information (SSRC-CSLI) Jonsson Social Sciences Reading Room
* New Books “New & Notable Books” shelf located in the SSRC Reception area, underneath the clock
Individuals who wish to use materials in the Social Sciences Resource Center (SSRC) and who are not affiliated with Stanford University or with an institution that has formal cooperative arrangements, should register in person at the Privileges Desk in the Cecil H. Green Library during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5pm). During evenings and weekend hours, visitors may sign in at one of the Green Library Portals and request a registration form to complete at that time. Detailed information for visitors is available here.
