It is with mixed feelings that we announce the retirement of Elizabeth Blackman, Administrative Associate for the AULs for Collection Development and Public Services.
Elizabeth began her career with the Stanford Libraries as Project Manager for the Stanford-California State Library Institute on 21st Century Librarianship. Because of her stellar work with the Institute she was hired as an Administrative Associate serving the Stanford Libraries’ leadership team. For over 10 years, Elizabeth has provided exceptional support to the libraries, across a range of functions and units. Most importantly, she has done so with joy and compassion, spreading her positive energy across the organization. All who worked with her will sorely miss Elizabeth’s friendly, helpful and uplifting presence in the directors’ suite.
Please join me in thanking Elizabeth for her service to Stanford, and in wishing her much luck and happiness as she embarks on new adventures. We will have a party for Elizabeth in late June or early July – watch SULAIR News for details.
