HOURS: Each position is (6-10) hours per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm.
SALARY: $14.65 - $15.55 per hour
TERM: Through end of Spring Quarter, 2017
SUPERVISOR: Benjamin Bates, Operations Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assists with the maintenance and shelving of archival collections; assists with preparation of items for preservation storage; assists with the processing of audio and video recordings and archival print materials including sorting, organizing, cleaning, shelving, and weeding out duplicate materials; maintaining acquisition statistics; assists with other facilities and collection maintenance duties as assigned including photocopying, scanning, and replacing enclosures..
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to follow instructions accurately and with attention to detail; ability to work reliably, steadily and independently; proficient in Windows environment and with Excel spreadsheets; good keyboarding skills; ability to handle fragile materials safely; ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Knowledge of historical sound recordings desired.
