The personal archive of Latvian American pastor, author, bibliophile and collector Richards Zariņš (1913-2006) contains his personal papers and the records of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church of New York. The materials document the life of Latvian community in New York after the arrival of World War II refugees and show the significant role of the Rev. Richards Zariņš as a leader of community.
