Endowments

Endowments emphasize growth and longevity. Most of the Libraries’ endowments are Book Funds, Stanford’s most accessible kind of named endowment. Despite the name, book funds allow us to obtain needed research and teaching materials in many formats.

Endowments may also serve to establish a named position, or to revitalize and dedicate a named space.
