Campus libraries updates

Visit the Libraries to connect to remote classes

Group study white tables with four red chairs in the newly renovated Hohbach Hall.

Stanford Libraries encourages students to connect to their online classes inside Green Library’s new Hohbach Hall, an interactive zone suitable for collaborative work, study and participation in zoom classes (with headphones). Quiet study spaces are also available at Green Library and at all of our campus libraries.

Omicron Impacting the Libraries

Library patrons are strongly advised to check the operating hours for libraries prior to visiting. Unfortunately, staffing levels have been impacted due to the recent surge in positive cases of the omicron variant. We are making every attempt to limit service disruptions, and are updating the Libraries’ website regularly to reflect changes. Please do not rely on Google or any other source for information on hours, as we can not verify accuracy on platforms other than the Libraries website. Delivery and/or pick up of library materials (holds, recalls, reserves, interlibrary loans) may also experience slight delays.

Entry into Green Library is restricted to the doors nearest Coupa Cafe and the red fountain. The Bing Wing entrance (across from the Main Quad) is currently closed. For accessibility information and support for entering Green Library, please call 650-723-1493.

Access to the Libraries remains limited to Stanford ID card holders. For additional information, please refer to the 2022 Access guidelines.

Thank you for your understanding.
