Born Digital Preservation Lab

The Born-Digital Preservation Lab captures and preserves Stanford Libraries’ collection materials that originate as digital resources.  Born-digital library materials can be acquired on physical storage media or acquired directly via file download / transfer.  The Born-Digital Preservation Lab also preserves legacy computing environments and maintains a suite of legacy computing equipment to facilitate research of born-digital library collections for faculty, staff and students.
